Arizona Machinery purchased Central Implement and welcomes them into the family!

Well folks, here we grow again! We have reached an agreement to purchase substantially all of the assets of Central Implement. Central's locations and territory are on the map to the right.

This is a huge deal for our company. Central has 7 locations in Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado with over 70 employees.

This deal actually reunites portions of the original Arizona Machinery. You might know from our history that up until 1959 Arizona Machinery carried both John Deere and Caterpillar, and had locations in Casa Grande and Tucson. When things split up in 1959, one of the main reasons the John Deere locations split up into different owner groups was that John Deere did not want to have any large dealers. My how things have changed!

We will be taking over operations on August 29, 2011. The stores in Cortez and Farmington will be called Greenline Equipment and the stores in Arizona will operate under the Arizona Machinery name.

We will be working hard in the days and months ahead to integrate the former Central stores into our culture and way of doing business. We look forward to getting to know the customers in the area and learning how we can make your lives easier.

Once fully integrated, this acquisition will greatly enhance our scale and our ability to serve both our existing customers and our new customers. As we gain economies of scale and better buying power, our services and offerings to our customers should only improve.
